Egyptian Belly Dancer was jailed for three years and fined £ 15,000 for wickedness and immorality.
In April, Egypt's best known Samar El Masri was arrested as part of an investigation into videos and photographs on social media.
Prosecutors described the posts as sexually suggestive and said Cairo's vicious Economic Court had violated family principles and values, as well as user accounts on social media for "immorality".
Member of Parliament John Talat has called for legal action against El Massey and other women as part of the crackdown on social media users.
He told the Thomson Reuters Foundation that women are destroying family values and traditions: "There is a lot of difference between freedom and uncleanness."
El Masri, 42, denied the allegations and said the matter had been stolen and was shared from her phone without her permission.
He vowed to appeal the court's decision.
Two years ago, Egypt introduced cybercrime law, giving the government the power to censor the Internet and monitor communications.
The sentence carries a minimum of two years in prison and a fine of 300,000 Egyptian pounds.
However, women's rights advocate and head of Cairo Center for Development and Law, Antesar L, said the authorities were only targeting women. Saeed said.
“Our traditional society is struggling with technological changes that have created an entirely different environment and mentality,” she said.
