How 'excited' fiance is to be Orlando Bloom girl Dad 4 in Katy Perry's recipes
Katy Perry shares how excited her fiance Orlando Bloom is with their baby-friendly couple, and where they are in the baby's name. The singer, who is expecting the couple's first child in the coming weeks, gave the latest information about her pregnancy in an interview with Carson and Kennedy of Mix 104.1.
Bloom is already the parents of 9-year-old son Flynn, who from his previous marriage to Australian model Miranda Kerr, said Perry is excited about becoming the father of the Lord of the Rings star girl.
"I think she's really excited for a little girl," she said. "You know they're little girls, Daddy's a little girl. That's what it is. We'll see."
As she prepares for motherhood amidst the coronavirus epidemic and social unrest, the singer says she has experienced "every emotion under the sun" when she is as excited as Bloom.
"I was upset, I was scared, I was happy, I was so happy, I was so upset - I was doing it all," she said. "The world is just wild, and it's time for the world to come to life. I mean, people have already been having that kind of conversation for years, where it's like, 'Man, the world feels a little uncertain.' And now, it's really unstable shoes."
When it comes to the baby's name, Perry explained why the couple has not yet closed on the little girl's name.
"We haven't decided on her name yet because I think we have options and she tells us ... I'll go look at her and say, 'Oh yeah, yeah, you're here. You're the one,'" Perry said.
Perry revealed her pregnancy in March through her "Never Worn White" music video. In May, she said, living with many young children helps prepare for motherhood.
While pregnant, she is working on her forthcoming fifth studio record. Released on August 14, she said she had no idea who would come first - her girlfriend or the album.
A heartfelt professional and personal period follow a challenging time during which Perry struggled to get out of bed in the morning. Fighting the depression and wondering "Will she live to see it the next day," Ashanti sparked some of her new music.
"It's about finding my smile again and getting out of a dark time in my life, where I was medically depressed," she said of her new album, whose name is still wrapped up. "I was on drugs, I was on the couch, I couldn't get out of bed, I didn't know if I was going to see it the next day. I had to play that role by wearing a happy face. You do. I was with my family, Orlando, with other help, with the doctors, and I went. I’m mentally deep diving with some things. ”
