Vanessa Bryant's daughter Capri celebrates her first birthday with an emotional post

Capri Bryant is one! Vanessa's youngest daughter and the late Kobe Bryant sat out a year on Saturday. To celebrate the birthday girl, Vanessa took to Instagram to share a photo of her little and her late husband. In his shocking note, he revealed that his "cocoa bean" was named after his "dearly remembered daddy."

Vanessa captioned the post, "Happy 1st Birthday! Mommy, Daddy, Nanny, Gigi, and Bibi love you so much !!! God bless you, sweet princess." "Capri Cobb Bryant a.k.a. 'Coco-Bean' in the name of his beloved untouched daddy, Cobb Bryant We Miss You So Goi and Daddy."

Both Cobb and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, were killed in a helicopter crash in January. Since her death, Vanessa and her daughters - Natalie, Bianca, and Capri - have had to celebrate many milestones without their family members.

Last month, Capri made its first move. Vanessa wrote on her Instagram, "My baby !!!! I'm so proud of my cocoa bean. Capri took the first step from her Aunt Sophie for Mama today."

In the video, Vanessa extends her arms to Capri, then turns to her to greet everyone in the room. "I know you're going to do it," the excited mother said before kissing her daughter.

This week, Vanessa revealed why she and her 17-year-old daughter decided to block fan pages on Instagram. The widow reported that it was "Ready Tough" for her and Natalia, who regularly see pictures of the late basketball player and Gianna.

"Thaks so much love," began Vanessa. "Nataliabriant and I, unfortunately, had to block fan pages because it was very difficult to see and continuously watch the online images of our beloved Gigi and Cobb in every category of our online pages.

"We love you all, but please understand that we must do this for our treatment, because we do not appreciate your love," he said. "Xo."

The Los Angeles Laker, meanwhile, will be honored on Sunday during the Virtual 2020 ESPYS. ESPN has announced that this year's show will feature "a love letter to Kobe Bryant from the people of Los Angeles featuring Snoop Dogg."
