Consumers in the Chinese city of Shenzhen has been asked’ to buy frozen food imported from Brazil after a positive test for chicken wing surface sample coronavirus’ according to a local government statement.
While the
positive sample appears to have been taken’ from the surface of the meat, the
first positive cases from other Chinese cities were observed from the surface
of the packaging on imported frozen seafood.
According to
the registration number provided in the statement, the chicken came from the
Aurora Elementos plant in the southern state of Santa Catarina.
The statement
said that the virus tests of individuals, they may be related’ to the product
and the tests of related products are negative. The government says consumers
should be careful when buying imported foods and aquatic products.
The city the government said on Tuesday in its official Weibo account that it had positively
tested three packaging samples of frozen seafood imported into COVID-19 in the northern city of Antai in China's Shandong Province. State television reported
Wednesday that a package of frozen shrimp outside Ecuador tested positive for
the virus at a restaurant in the city of Wuhu in China's Anhui province’
