Apple's iPhone 12 range is officially delayed’ but the big story is the controversial mix of their big upgrades and amazing downgrades as the company tries to keep prices low. But it can't work.
New information from renowned industry
analyst Trend force reveals that despite a series of controversial cuts, the
iPhone 12 lineup is the most expensive iPhone ever released. And up to 150 more
than previously expected.
Bloomberg Reveals More Details of iPhone
12 Launch, Best Investigative Reporter Mark Gorman says Range won't be ready
for iOS 14 launch in September. Gorman says the delayed release means that
sometime in October (or even later); the iPhone 12 lineup will ship out of the
box with iOS 14.1. Current iPhone owners can expect to launch several 'minor
point' versions of iOS 14 before that (iOS 14.0.1, 14.0.2, etc.). Historically,
this has only happened once before the iPhone X was pushed’ in November. But
never before in the 12-year history of the iPhone have all the new models
launched a new generation of iOS. That said, it may give Apple enough time to
squeeze in the upgrade that everyone is looking forward to.
Breaking this, Trend force reports that
the new entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone 12, renamed the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Plus,
iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are priced at 9 749, 9 849, 1 1,099 and 19
will start from 1,199. This is a 100 increase for the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone
11 Pro Max, but the price increase is a 150 jump for the iPhone 12 Plus, the
successor to the iPhone 11.
And the reason for this increase will be
controversial: 5G, which is still not available to most consumers around the
world. At present, 5G chips are expensive, according to recent estimates, and say
that after Apple's factors in profit margins; they will increase construction
costs by 5135. The transition comes in a year when Apple is shifting all
iPhones from LCD to OLED, which is another cost increase.
All of this means that Apple is trying
hard to cut costs by removing chargers and airpods from the box and shrinking
battery capacity. Which has finally cast doubt on their eagerly awaited Pro
Motion displays and seems ready to compromise on the performance of Apple's
potentially game-changing A14 chip, as it has a battery Tries to keep his life
safe
Despite this price increase, on the
contrary, competitors are being hit’ even harder and most of the premium 5G
smartphones sold in the iPhone 12 range today are likely to be reduced.
Accordingly, with Apple hinting at launching a long-lasting, low-cost 4G iPhone
12 Pro early next year, those who are reluctant to pay the '5G tax' have
decided to make the smartest upgrade. Have to wait
