Indian police on Saturday stopped questioning Bollywood megastar Deepika Padukone in a growing drug probe after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The Rajput, who was found’ dead in his apartment
in June, told Rolling News channels that his ex-girlfriend, actress Riya
Chakraborty had given him drugs and even black magic. Evicted for killing
himself.
Rajput's family has reported in
controversial news that he was depressed and had openly accused 28-year-old
Chakraborty of stealing their money and harassing him.
The actress, who denies any wrongdoing and
has been jailed’ by the media for several months with her family, was arrested
earlier this month on charges of buying cannabis for a Rajput and was released

Meanwhile, director Karan Johar, who has
been a target of TV channels and social media users since Rajput's death,
issued a statement on Friday dismissing the claims that he had given Salem his
own. He used drugs at a house party.
