The sale will take place in New York on October 6, with bids expected to range from  6 million to 8 8 million, giving it access to the 1997 8.4 million paid for T-Rex in the October 1997 lawsuit. ۔

Stan - named after the amateur pathologist responsible for his initial discovery - will be on display in a window at Christie's headquarters in New York City from Wednesday to October 21.

Its head is so heavy that the replica sits on top of the skeleton, along with the original map.
