An explosion has been reported’ at a student clinic at Southern Ural State University in the Russian capital, Chelyabinsk.

According to the region's health ministry, an explosion occurred at a booth to store oxygen cylinders at the polyclinic.

 

No casualties were reported’ the department said.

 

However, two critically ill patients with the Korean virus died after oxygen supply was cut off’ in Chelyabinsk.

 

This preliminary figure is still being’ verified.

 

Prosecutor Lupine said in a statement: "The actions of all officials, including those responsible for the operation of this oxygen booth will be assessed.

 

"According to preliminary figures, two critically ill patients died before or after the explosion when oxygen was cut off."
