Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) defeated Sun Riser Hyderabad (SRH) by 12 runs, the looting of cricket fans will not be a problem. This victory puts KXIP at 4 in a row.
SRH was traveling at 56/0 in the seventh over. He
remained good till the 16th over where he was 100/3; he needed only 27 out of
24 with seven wickets in 7 overs.
But the scenario changed and he was dismissed’
for 114 in 19.5 overs while Chirs Jordan and Arshdeep Singh took two wickets
each in the death overs.
The match was so nail-biting but it was enough
for the fans to see the joy on the face of owner Preity Zinta. Even former
cricketers congratulated KXIP on their glorious victory.
