A UEFA spokesperson told SID: "UEFA's efforts are currently focused on planning tournaments with spectators in all 12 venues.

 

The European Championships start on June 11, 2021, with the first match of the group between Italy and Turkey starting at the Studio Olimpico in Rome.

 

Meanwhile, the final is scheduled’ to take place on July 11, 2021, at Wembley Stadium in London, as the UEFA, celebrates its 60th anniversary.

 

Portugal won the trophy for the first time in its history in 2016, beating France 1-0 after extra time in the showpiece event.

 

Both sides will be among the favorites to win the tournament, along with Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and England, while the UEFA National League will discuss all countries from next year until action begins.

 

Portugal won the inaugural National League in 2019 with a 1-0 victory over the Netherlands and the latest campaign will continue until the international break next week.
