Australian rules are enough to host 2 thousand spectators

As we previously reported, the Australian Football League (AFL) will play its first game from March this weekend, in which fans must attend.

Chief executive officer Gillan McClaklan told fans this morning that they expect "announcements" by the end of the week.

They don't have to wait long: South Australia has confirmed that it will allow a crowd of 2 thousand spectators and 240 other players in Adelaide on Saturday.

The Queensland and New South Wales (NSW) clubs are seeking similar arrangements.

Australia has reported only two new infections in NSW in the last 24 hours.
