The Iranian Defense Ministry on Thursday night exploded in a gas tank near a military base and shook the capital.
Defense Ministry spokesman Dawood Abdi told State TV that the military establishment was unaffected by the incident in close proximity to the Parachin Ministry of Defense in Tehran, South Korea. He gave no information about the cause of the explosion, which led to the fire by emergency services. No casualties were reported.
