The 80% point of the Iran trade border has been reopened

The Tehran-Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade has announced that 80 percent of the country's trade border points closed due to the coronavirus pandemic have reopened.   Hussein Modares Qiabani said the country's product exports have returned to normal after the borders were reopened.    A spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran's Customs Administration (ERICA) said Friday that areas bordering Iran are open to each other, easing sanctions on the region.

A spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran's Customs Administration (ERICA) said Friday that areas bordering Iran are open to each other, easing sanctions on the region.

According to Ruhullah Latifi, the country's borders with the Mehran and Khorramshahr water crossings are open with Iraq.

For the southern water border with the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman, there is no problem with commercial ships; However, each of these countries has restrictions on wooden vessels and trade with these countries under health protocols, the official explained.
