Uzbekistan to reopen borders for some airline passengers



Central Asian Government  Uzbekistan says it will reopen borders for some airline passengers starting June 15.


Diplomats, their family members, investors, and medical tourists, as well as Uzbek people, will be reopening the border to be closed for study or medical treatment, the ministry said in a statement.

Depending on where they are coming from, visitors may be detained, placed on probation at home, or indoors; The latter applies to those coming from China, Japan, South Korea, and Israel.

The former Soviet Republic confirmed 4,966 COVID-19 cases with 19 deaths.
