Former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg believes that Ambati Rayudu will soon be in contention for a place in the Indian squad again. His thoughts are after the first match of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2020 against Mumbai Indians (MI). In the match, despite easy dismissals by openers Shane Watson and Murali Vijay, Rayudu scored 71 off just 48 balls to help his team win.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Hogg
said, "CSK has got a lot of depth. Ambati RayudU stood up and I think he
can do something again at No. 4. I wouldn't be surprised. If he is playing for
India soon. Later. "
He thinks Rayudu will have another big
series and he feels like he's on top. The former cricketer said that Rayudu
would score another 50 runs and he could also become the man of the match.
Unfortunately, Rayudu suffered an injury
that ruled him out of the second game of the season against Rajasthan Royals
(RR) on Tuesday. The cricketer was replaced by Raturaj Gaikwad.
Not only Hogg but Shane Watson also said
that the way Reudo fought Jaspreet Bumrah in Abu Dhabi was
"unbelievable".

talented batsman. He said he thought it was unfortunate for India not to
include him in the 2019 World Cup squad.

Jaspreet Bumrah was incredible and he had the option to score around the
ground.
According to Watson, Rayudu has some
advantage to prove his old team against Mumbai Indians as well. In 2018, Rayudu
scored 602 runs for CSK, after which he was named’ in the Indian ODI team.
However, the player was dropped’ from the World Cup squad after which he
