Two fierce rivals, Raila and Ruto, recently met during the inaugural Kip Canoe Classic at Nairobi's New National Stadium, where Kenyan athletes demonstrated their potential.
The
pair have been spotted’ celebrating at an event marking a new dawn for
Nairobi's desire to host one-day and high profile events.
The
AO Infrastructure Envoy has negotiated agreements with the DP on several
occasions on the so-called Hustler Movement through the Second in Command.
On Saturday, October 3, Vice President
William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga shared a podium together on
a rare occasion.

The two political rivals recently met
during the inaugural Kip Canoe Classic at Nairobi's New National Stadium, where
Kenyan athletes showcased their talents.
In the photos shared on the official
handle of the ODM leader, Raila and Ruto showed all smiles as they cheered the
Kenyan athletes on a program that featured one more day of competition from
Nairobi. A new dawn has been introduced’ for the desire to host.
The so-called Hustler Movement, an AW
infrastructure envoy who has traded barbs with the DP on several occasions,
praised the Kenyan athletes for being the country's number one ambassador.
"Major sporting events continue to be
a source of healthy entertainment and unite Kenya with patriotism. Our athletes
are ideal brand ambassadors for which we, as the public, thank you very much.

Scouting Talent
Ruto, on the other hand, said that the
Ministry of Sports was committed to enriching Kenya's social, economic and
cultural fabric, enhancing Kenya's stage and participating in sports
competitions at all levels, as well as developing and beautifying skills. The
process will continue.
"We recognize that sport is a viable
and important vehicle for sustainable development in our society to achieve
team spirit, coherence and inclusion," he said.
The event was used’ to commemorate Kenya's
gold medalist at the 1968 and 1972 Olympic Games, Capt. Keno.
There was also an opportunity for athletes
to train new tracks at the stadium, which now meet international standards.
Earlier, Ruta Boda went to Nakuru County
in an empowerment drive targeting Boda operators.
