CIA detective Antonio Veciana of Cuba, who has dedicated his life to killing Fidel Castro and destabilizing the island's communist government, has killed 91 people in Miami.
The strong anti-Castro crusader, who claims to have set the pace in "Operation Peter Pan," died on Thursday after a prolonged battle over an impotent man, a cause for the thousands of Cuban children to move into the United States in the 1960s, his daughter Ana Veciana-Suarez told AFP.
His 2017 autobiography "Tried to Kill" describes how in 1959 CIA agent David Attlee Phillips - "Bishop" - was assigned to Veconia and killed Fidelio in Havana training, who died of natural causes in 2016.

Originally an accountant at the National Bank of Cuba, Veciana was taught to remain invisible, to conspire, to be honest, to distrust, and to undermine the reputation of the country's revolutionaries.
"The terrorists do what I did, that's not all," Veciana told AFP in an interview at her home three years ago, when her memory was released.
Due to the general instability on the island, Veciana has spread a rumor that the Cuban government is locking up legal custody parents over their children.
Parents then gave away 14,000 children known as "Operation Peter Pan".
Between 1960 and 1962, parents moved their children from Cuba through the Catholic Church offices. Minors who do not have adult companions are accepted into camps in Florida.
After an unsuccessful attack on Castro in 1961, Veciana went into exile in the United States.
When contacted by the "bishops" in Miami, Vecona founded the anti-Castro paramilitary group "Alpha 66", which carried out commando-type attacks on Castro's regime in the 1960s and 70s.
He then made two more attempts on Castro's life, eventually throwing in the towel and giving up his mission in 1979 to kill the Cuban leader.
