Serena Williams says she likes playing the 'US Open'

The US coach said Serena Williams had regained the opportunity to play at the US Open this year and continued her quest to cross Margaret Court's, Grand Slam Hall.

Despite concerns about top men's and women's players regarding coronavirus safety measures, it will soon be confirmed that the U.S. Open will open on August 31 without fans.

Men's world number one Novak Djokovic has made reservations about staying in a hotel between matches, and Flushing Meadow may have only one other man, while defending champion Rafael Nadal is touring New York, but the epidemic continues.

However, Patrick Mourtoglu, who coached six-time US Open champion Williams, said he was interested in playing in the women's final last year as runner-up.

With a court record of 24, Williams needs more slam titles.

"Of course, he loves to play," he told BBC Radio 4's Today program on Mooretog.

"It is very difficult for a player to stay out of the competition. He will definitely return to tennis to win the Grand Slam, which is his goal, so it will be his first chance to win the US Open.

"You know this US Open is very special. It has a lot of limitations and I have to talk to her if she can accept and maintain those expectations."

Williams gave birth to a daughter - Alexis Olympia Ohanian - in September 2017 and Maratoglu recognized the possibility that having another man at Flushing Meadows would have an impact on her, as she joked that she could be a good coach for your mother.

He said, "Well I think so - I can't imagine she would be three weeks without her daughter."

"So, he might be the new coach for the US Open ... [One] is a little smaller! If you look at our record in the final Grand Slam final, his daughter may be more successful than me!"
