The stock rose Thursday after reports of improved U.S. jobs in June but hit an earlier high after coronavirus infections rose.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 181 points, or 0.7%, to 25,916, the S&P 500 rose 0.7%, and the Nasdaq 0.81%.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, US employers added 4.8 million workers to the salary last month, and the unemployment rate fell by 11%.
