Four people were arrested in the Jaffna blast



Police have arrested four people in connection with the blast in Jaffna. People found explosives while clearing land and injured themselves after setting it on fire.


The accused were admitted to Jaffna Teaching Hospital for treatment before being arrested by the police. The accused are between the ages of 30 and 40 and are residents.

Police suspect the explosives were left by the Tamil Eelam Liberation Tigers during the 30-year civil war. The investigation is ongoing.
