Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel was in a state of emergency due to the outbreak of coronavirus and needed to take additional steps.
"The Cabinet has been compromised in the coming days to decide on the new sanctions and will present a plan to address the financial challenges in the next few days," he said at the opening of the weekly Cabinet meeting.
