The Dutch government sued Russia on MH17



The Hague, July 10 (Reuters) - The Dutch government on Friday said it would file a lawsuit against Russia in the European Court of Human Rights six years ago over the crash of Malaysia Airlines passenger flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine.


The Netherlands, home to nearly two-thirds of the victims, blamed Russia for the July 17, 2014 crash. The Kremlin denied involvement.

The Netherlands issuing the European Court of Justice to achieve "truth, justice and accountability" for 298 victims, according to a letter to parliament.
