Trudeau Face Check for 64 664 Million Canada Charity Contract

Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing scrutiny over his government's decision to award him a contract worth more than C $ 900 million ($ 664 million), which hooks him and his family.

With the drain of employment options, the WE Charity was awarded a Canada Student Service Grant to establish a program to raise money for tuition and expenses for students during the epidemic. The plan is to grant students C $ 1,000 to C $ 5,000 to participate in service activities.

The Office of Conflict and Ethics Commissioner received a request from two lawmakers this week to investigate the conduct of the federal watchdog Trudeau. An investigation is underway to inform the premier.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. Prime Minister and his mother have appeared on numerous daytime shows, while his wife, Sophie Grazier, hosted a podcast for Trudeau's "Well Being."

V Charity and the federal government announced Friday that they are ending their partnership. The WE charity, which operates in 130 school districts and agencies, agreed to run the program after consulting authorities in late April and said the program had been launched successfully. It has decided to withdraw it amid the growing controversy, saying it will waive all costs associated with setting up the program and repaying all funds allocated for it.

"We will cooperate with the Ethics Commissioner's investigation and answer all questions they have," Trudeau spokeswoman Ann-Clara Velloncourt said in an email.
