Twitter Inc. President Donald Trump retweeted the campaign-style video on Saturday, citing a copyright complaint.
The video, which features music from Group Linkin Park, disappeared with a notification from the president's Twitter feed on Saturday night: "The media has been suspended in response to a report by a copyright owner."
Twitter removed a video retweeted by Trump from White House social media director Dan Scavino, which later collected requests to delete online content, according to a notice posted on the Digital Millennium Copyright Act from Machine Shop Entertainment, in the lumen database.
Machine Shop is a management company owned by Rock Band Linkin Park, according to its LinkedIn page.
"We respond to legitimate copyright complaints sent to us by the copyright owner or their authorized representatives," a Twitter spokeswoman said in an email.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Twitter began challenging Trump's tweet in May and has had repeated altercations with him ever since. He said the social media company was sometimes ineffective or commented on tweets made by the president because it violated a policy against copyright complaints or threats of violence.
Twitter deleted a picture tweeted by the president on June 30 following a complaint by the New York Times, whose photographer took the picture.
The company posted a tweet from the president behind the warning label in late May, claiming that Minneapolis officer George Floyd had violated its rules against "glorifying violence" when he argued that the death was tough on the resistance.
