He added that 850,000 people lost their
jobs due to the coronavirus, 59% of whom were active in the service sector.
However, 31% of businesses in the industrial sector were affected’ and 28% of
industrial workers were laid off.
In the agriculture sector, about 20 percent of businesses were tainted, and 3 per cent of workers lost their jobs, he
lamented, adding that about 12,500 to 13,500 people were added’ to our pension
