Court records show that Grammy-winning hip-hop star Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, filed for divorce in Georgia on Tuesday.

According to court documents, the couple is living in "a good state of separation", and the marriage is "irreparably broken".

And they have "no chance of reconciliation," the papers say.

Cardi, 27, is seeking a "basic physical custody" of the B-culture and is seeking an offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, to assist in child support and care.

Legal documents state that the former couple now have a marital home in Fulton County, Georgia.

Cardi B and Offset got married secretly, they don't disclose the news when they went down the aisle for a year.

Their relationship was rocked’ amid rumors of her cheating, and she took to the stage at Cardi B's Rolling Loud concert in 2018 to apologize for the offset.

However, the rapper said she wanted to work on her relationship with Offset, saying that what she did was "not right" but "I am not an angel".

Her latest single, WAP, Megan Thee Stalin's clear pairing since her release in August, topped both the United States and the United Kingdom.
