On Tuesday, three official sources said that Albanian officials and Afghan representatives had agreed on a code of conduct to advance peace talks in Doha.
Sources told Reuters that, with the help
of US officials, the delegations on Monday agreed on 19 rules, including a code
of conduct, which would be followed’ to prevent peace talks from collapsing.
Talks between the Afghan government and
the insurgent Taliban began in the Qatari capital last month aimed at ending
decades of war in Afghanistan.
