Tehran: The Iranian Navy has tested a "new generation" of short and long-range cruise missiles, a statement said on Thursday. I have gone.
The Armed Forces website has published pictures of drills in the Gulf of Oman, showing missiles from behind a warship and truck, and exploding a ship at sea.
The short and long-range missiles have been tested, a statement said.
"They have destroyed targets that are 280 kilometers (174 miles) apart and can expand their range further," the statement said.
These missiles were designed and manufactured by the Ministry of Defense and the Navy.
State television released a video on its website claiming that some of the missiles were "based on old platforms that were updated."

The Navy exercise comes after a "drill" during a similar drill on May 10, in which a battleship struck a single water missile.
Nineteen personnel were killed and 15 injured in the incident, the army said.
The missile was launched by another Iranian frigate during a "friendly fire" incident, the Tasnim news agency reported.
