Selena Gomez has confirmed that she will be working with BLACKPINK on her upcoming single.
Pop megastar announced on Twitter that he
and K-Pop Group have joined forces on the current-unused track, which is set to
release on August 28.
Along with the artwork, the chocolate
melts and is black and pink, Selena wrote "So glad to announce SO
@gofficialblink and new song coming out on August 28th! (Sic)"
Black Pink joked that their next song will
be announced’ as Mystery Artist in their next song, which is set to be released
in October.
It has a lead single called 'How You Like
That'.
The South Korean girl group - which
includes Jisu, Jenny, Rose and Lisa - was removed’ from the hit album
'Chromatica' after their lead duet with Lady Gaga, 'Sour Candy'.
Selena released her last album 'Rare' in
January and became a lockdown hit at her own Makeshift studio.
Meanwhile, she recently admitted that she
"always dreams" of doing a song with Taylor Swift.
The hitmaker of 'Loose You to Love Me'
loves to work with her best friend, describing her as "family".
He said’ "I've always dreamed of
doing a song with Taylor. We both wanted to do it. We feel like family ... He's
my best friend’. But we talked about it."
The 28-year-old singer has previously
praised Taylor as "one of the greatest songwriters".
Selena ran through some of the songs on
her 'At Home with Selena Gomez' playlist, which also included Taylor's hit
track 'Hover'.
In the song, she says, "It's nothing
more to say. It's another song that shows her ability to go back to old songs,
as well as make her do new things with her music." Combine with
