A cabinet statement said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet on Sunday approved Israel's usual agreement with Bahrain, which is now awaiting parliamentary approval.
Netanyahu’s cabinet unanimously approved the
agreement, signed at a White House ceremony on September 15, where the United
Arab Emirates also formalized relations with Israel.
The Bahraini cabinet approved the agreement on
October 19.
An Israeli parliamentary spokesperson said a date
had yet to be set for a plenum vote under an agreement with Bahrain. Israel and
the United Arab Emirates ratified their agreement earlier this month.
